7 Weeks Out

Is it 7 weeks out already?? Goodness it's going quickly. I really don't have much to report as everything with my nutrition and training will reamin the same for another week.
My progress however is changing each week and I am enjoying the improvements. They are subtle but noticable.
I have been practising my posing since seeing Jo a few weeks ago and i think i'm getting better at them. I will be okay on the day providing I don't shake down the house lol.
As for my routine, i'm toying with the idea of doing a new one. Am I mad? I have 7 weeks to learn a new one. I was going to do the routine i did on my first ever comp, Jo Rogers put it together for me. But I feel i need something else now....grrr...it's tough being libran.
I am giving myself until the end of this week to decide. I have gone as far as picking out a song, at least that's something :-)

As the weeks are getting closer I am now feeling the nerves start creeping in. What am I nervous about? The outcome i guess, I don't know, I'm hoping I look good enough to provide some competition on the day and not look at of place or not ready for a National Comp.
But whatever happens at least I know I will have done my best to bring "my" best ever physique to the stage, I would have gained even more stage experience which I so desperatley need, and most important, my Father will be there to see my compete. I feel better already :-), I guess blogging or writing things down can help.

After the Asia-Pacific Championships I am going to have the year off. I think I will only compete during the Sept/Oct season so that I only cut down once a year. I have done quite a few in my first year but I think that's what one does in there first year.
This blog was longer then I expected lol.

8 weeks out

Helen White

Looking at my progress pictures and comparing them to my last comp prep i can clearly see that I have more size (muscle) and I am leaner.
This is awesome to see, my killer sessions in the gym are paying off.
At this stage I don;t need to change anything, not until 6 weeks out. My nutrition stays the same, im not cutting that for a while. I will increase my cardio (if you call walking on a treadmill cardio) to 7 days a week. Currently I am only doing three hours a week at an easy pace, this seems to working really well for me. My muscles are not sacrificed and im still burning fat.

The next 8 weeks are going to fly by and I am excited and nervous about the comp. Personally there have been changes to my trip. My father is coming to Sydney to watch me compete for the first time ever and I can;t describe what this means to me.
Now that he is coming my hubby and I decided to get an apartment in the city (instead of staying with inlaws) so we can all be togther in a two bedroom apartment.
It's going to be great having dad there with me on the day, it is his dream and mine.
Im also very lucky to have Fern as my backstage helper on the day - it feels like Christmas lol. I will have Fern and Dad with me, i'm in great hands, what a load off my mind.

Latley I have been getting so much support from every direction. At my gym the owners, staff and members have been so amazing towards me. Helen White (above pic) has been so helpful and I am so fortunate to have her support. Things are just great :-)

Here's hoping it stays great.

See you soon.

9 weeks out

My comp prep is trekking really well. In relation to nutrition and cardio this would have to be the easiest comp prep i've had, but in relation to weight training, that's a different story all together. Im training like a freak lol, my strength is still exploding from week to week and the results are showing.
Looking at my pictures and comparing them to my last prep I can see im ahead of schedule with the bodyfat and im noticing more muscle on my physique, so I will continue as I am for a while.
Everything is going really well and I am looking forward to the big day. I don't have expectations but I do know I will look better than my last comp and I think that's what it's all about, however, coming in top three would be icing on the cake :-)
I will be around to visit everyone soon.

10 weeks out

I had such a great week last week and plan to do even better this week in regards to my training.
I am hitting some pretty amazing PB's and know I have more in me to push out. I can't believe I even did an RPM class on Saturday morning, boy what a workout that was! With my new schedule for this comp prep I haven't been doing cardio to that extent so it was a shocker. Back to normal as of today :-)

So what was the verdict with the bikini colour? I am going with green! Jo is going to create something for me, I left it all up to her (god love her), this way I can get a suprise when it turns up at my door, exciting!!

Yesterday was an awesome day, we went out on my friends 40 foot boat for the day and the weather was glorious. I had the best time and feel so lucky to have friends with a big boat ;-) lol. Im a little sunburnt and a little tired today but it was will worth it.
Nathan had a ball with his friends and loved the day also, he is much better now and doing really well, this makes me so happy, he is just so precious.

I hope everyone's doing well.

Jo Rogers - Miss Amazing!

I went out to see Jo this morning for a brush up (that's putting it mildly) on my poses. She helped sooo much, she has a great eye and is a perfectionist when it comes to presentation on stage.
Jo is such an asset to the bodybuilding industry and I have no idea where I would be without her help.
Thank you Jo!!
