7 Weeks Out
Is it 7 weeks out already?? Goodness it's going quickly. I really don't have much to report as everything with my nutrition and training will reamin the same for another week.
My progress however is changing each week and I am enjoying the improvements. They are subtle but noticable.
I have been practising my posing since seeing Jo a few weeks ago and i think i'm getting better at them. I will be okay on the day providing I don't shake down the house lol.
As for my routine, i'm toying with the idea of doing a new one. Am I mad? I have 7 weeks to learn a new one. I was going to do the routine i did on my first ever comp, Jo Rogers put it together for me. But I feel i need something else now....grrr...it's tough being libran.
I am giving myself until the end of this week to decide. I have gone as far as picking out a song, at least that's something :-)
As the weeks are getting closer I am now feeling the nerves start creeping in. What am I nervous about? The outcome i guess, I don't know, I'm hoping I look good enough to provide some competition on the day and not look at of place or not ready for a National Comp.
But whatever happens at least I know I will have done my best to bring "my" best ever physique to the stage, I would have gained even more stage experience which I so desperatley need, and most important, my Father will be there to see my compete. I feel better already :-), I guess blogging or writing things down can help.
After the Asia-Pacific Championships I am going to have the year off. I think I will only compete during the Sept/Oct season so that I only cut down once a year. I have done quite a few in my first year but I think that's what one does in there first year.
This blog was longer then I expected lol.

Bahahaha since when are Librans indecisive? Just kidding - I'm just as bad! Don't be nervous hun - you've put soooo much into this and I know you are going to look fantastic in 7 weeks time. Luv ya! xo
Hi Deb, I am in much the same situation as you. I've decided to reuse my music but try and change a few of the moves. If it all gets too much to learn in too short a time, I will just stick will the old moves. I'm sure you will look great. You're supposed to improve with each show you do (well that's what I'm telling myself anyway!). Cheers, Charlotte
Hiya Deb, lol @ u considering changing your routine!! I am sure that whatever you decided to do, it will be fantastic.
Cheers
Tara :)
It's always better to get a whole lot of experience under your belt in your first year!! As for learning a new routine... go for it!! I'm getting my music cut and by the time I get my routine it will be about 7 weeks out... go on... rise to the challenge... I DARE YA!! Hehehe xxx
Hi Deb

Mike

Not long now Deb, I am so excited for you, I wish that I was competing so soon again :s.
Best of luck I know you will get that new routine together in time ;)
For a laugh you should go back into your archives and read through your posts from this time last year and see how far you've come. You've all grown up in this sport and I'm proud of you! Having a longer off-season is a great idea, more time to grow quality muscle. It's quality, not quantity. ;o) xx
Wow Lia your right, I have come a looonnngggg way lol.
Thanks :-)
